Meet Hanna

"WHO AM I"
Hi, I'm Hanna Lee — Doctor of Physical Therapy, mom of two, cancer survivor, and a woman who knows exactly what it feels like to be in your 40s and wonder what is happening to your body.
"MY STORY"
I spent 19 years helping patients one on one in a treatment room. I loved every minute of it. But somewhere in my early 40s, I started experiencing the same things I was hearing from my patients — joint stiffness, slower recovery, unexplained fatigue, and a body that just didn't feel like mine anymore. As a DPT I knew something was happening, but even I wasn't connecting all the dots. Perimenopause doesn't just affect your hormones. It affects your muscles, your joints, your posture, your energy, and your sense of self. And most women — including me — have no idea until they're already in the thick of it.
"THE TURNING POINT"
My passion for helping people heal runs even deeper than my career. In 2014 I was diagnosed with papillary thyroid cancer that metastasized to my lymph nodes, lung, and femur. After two surgeries I was left with chronic neck pain that I — a physical therapist — could not fix. That journey led me to John F. Barnes Myofascial Release, which changed my life and the way I practice forever.
"WHY I WENT ONLINE"
Those two experiences — my cancer recovery and my own perimenopause journey — are exactly why I moved my entire practice online. To reach the ladies up at 2am Googling their symptoms. They are pushing through pain and fatigue and being told it is just part of getting older. And they deserve real answers from someone who has lived it and studied it for nearly two decades.
I built this for women like us.
